PORTRAIT: SIDE B begins at the periphery. A hairline's slow retreat. The weight of a neck held upright. A blink that completes itself unwitnessed. Fourteen works built from these moments, constructing a portrait from what portraiture typically discards.

The exhibition takes its title from cassette logic. Side B is where the obvious version gives way to something quieter, more considered. The alternate track. The register where limitation becomes its own kind of precision.

The works hold their position between abstraction and recognition without resolving into either. Lines gather, compress, and thin. A pearl. A tooth's blue surface. A field of marks that stops just short of becoming skin.

Moving between fullness and stillness with patience and precision. Which is, quietly, what bodies do too.
